Resource recovery and recycling
With the increasing concern over the impact that Australians are having on the environment, recycling today is no longer a luxury – it’s a necessity. Unfortunately, it can sometimes be quite difficult to arrange resource recovery and recycling services, especially in more remote areas. That’s where we come in. At Toxfree, we offer resource recovery services all across the country. Additionally, we offer resource recovery services in remote areas of Western Australia and regional Queensland.
Toxfree’s Resource Recovery Facilities are used to sort recyclables including glass, plastics, metals and paper, which are then separated, whereby the recyclable material is further processed and converted back into new products.

Recycling Warriors Initiative
To demonstrate our commitment to corporate social responsibility, Toxfree Karratha and Rio Tinto have joined forces to educate local school children about the importance of recycling through the Recycling Warriors programme. The Recycling Warriors initiative allows schools to have their own recycling depot on school grounds and ensures all students are given an opportunity to learn about the value of recycling. Through an educational and interactive presentation, students are encouraged to deposit their rubbish in the appropriate labelled bins — paper/cardboard, aluminium, glass and food scraps. Toxfree services school depots weekly and provides statistics on the amount and type of rubbish collected. The overall objective of this initiative is to teach young children about the benefits of recycling from an early age, helping to achieve a more sustainable future through the next generation.
Toxfree services are available Australia wide, locations include:
