About Toxfree

History

Established and listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in 2000, Toxfree has experienced substantial growth during this time, achieved through acquisitions, new green-field developments and the organic growth of our existing businesses. Back in 2000, we employed 20 people, and operated from two locations in Kwinana and Port Hedland, today Toxfree employs over 1650 people and provides national services from over 80 locations Australia wide.

Company History

2000 – 2004

Toxfree Solutions Ltd listed on the ASX 29 September 2000. Operating from twofacilities: Eli Eco Logic Australia, Kwinana, WA and Oil Energy Corporation, PortHedland, WA. Toxfree’s initial strategy was to commercialise its Thermal Desorption Technology. The pilot plant was first commissioned at Port Hedland andlater at Kwinana.

2004

Started the development of thePilbara’s first integrated wasteprocessing facility in Karratha, WA,the “Pilbara Resource RecoveryCentre (PRRC)”.

2005

Toxfree was rebirthed with the appointment of a new management team that developed a strategy focussed on the provision of a broad range of waste treatment solutions for all types of wastes produced by industry. This is thecommencement of the same strategy in which Toxfree bases its business today.

2006

Acquired Delvex Industrial Cleaning in Henderson WA.

Acquisition of Grimefighters Fluidclean, Kalgoorlie, WA, now known as Toxfree Kalgoorlie.

Expanded our presence in Henderson WA with the acquisition of Specialised Tank Cleaning Services, now known as Toxfree Henderson.

2007

Acquisition of Kimberley Waste Services, Kimberley region WA.

Acquisition of AGR Industries’ Liquid Waste Treatment inBrisbane QLD. now known as Toxfree Coopers Plains.

2008

Construction of the Pilbara Resource Recovery Centre (PRRC) is finalised, and we acquire Karratha Mini Skips.

Diversified our services with the addition of onsite industrial cleaning through the acquisition of Barry Bros. on the east coast of Australia.

Toxfree St Marys is established in Sydney, NSW.

2010

Acquisition of Envirochem Technologies, based in Melbourne VIC

Awarded total waste management and industrial cleaning contracts with Toll Energy, Rio Tinto. Woodside Energy, Chevron. Mermaid and Minara Resources.

2011

Expansion into the Northern Territory with the acquisition of Waste Solutions (NT), based in Darwin NT.

Expansion into northern Queensland with the acquisition of Mackay Maintenance Services, a leading provider of Industrial Services to the resource sector in the Bowen Basin, Queensland.

Further expansion into he West Australian Pilbara region with the acquisition of Pilbara Waste, a leading solid waste management provider

Toxfree are proud recipients of the 2011 NSCA GIO Workers Compensation Award for Excellence in OHS&E for the development of our national accredited training programs for operators of high provider. pressure water jetting equipment.

2012

Strategic acquisition of the Dolomatrix International Limited group of companies, specialising in waste collection, recycling and destruction services within the hazardous waste sector.

2013

Strategic acquisition of VVanless Enviro Services Ply Ltd, Smart Skip Ply Ltd and Jones Environmental Services Pty Ltd. Thisacquisition was a significant expansion for Toxfree into the East Coast waste market.

2014

Joint venture partnership formed with Pilbara Logistic WA Group (PLWA), trading as PIES. This joint venture structure will increase current business capabilities and exposure across both waste management and industrial services in the Pilbara.

2015

Acquisition of HKD Process Cleaning to further expand our Industrial Services providing. HDK Process Cleaning has been trading since 2000 and their services include chemical cleaning, pipeline maintenance and servicing.

Acquisition of GBR Enviro Services (GBR) in South Australia. GBR provide waste and industrial cleaning services primarily focussed on regional and remote resource operations throughout the Central Region of Australia.

Toxfree acquired a controlling stake in PGM Refiners to provide clients with an e-waste solution. PGM Refiners are experienced in e-waste recycling, including CRT, flat screen TVs, monitors and laptops.

2016

Strategic acquisition of Worth Recycling. Worth is a leading NSW based liquid waste and industrial services business.The acquisition represents a major expansion of Toxfree’s presence in New South Wales which is the largest waste market in Australia.

Strategic Acquisition of Daniels Health Australia. Daniels is the market leading provider of medical waste solutions, collections and treatments in Australia with a strong history of growth. In addition. Daniels holds the intellectual property rights to various collector systems, including the “Sharpsmart” and “Clinismart” series of reusable sharps and clinical waste containers. Daniels has approximately 300 employees in Australia across 17 sites, including two incineration facilities in Sydney and Melbourne, as well as three joint venture managed sites in New Zealand.
